Understand the score
For cost and delivery, the lowest input scores 100 and the highest scores 0, with values in between scaled linearly. If all inputs are equal, all score 100 for that criterion. Fit is your rating × 10. The overall score is the weighted average of these three scores.
Adding or removing a quote changes this relative scale. A high score is not independent evidence of quality. Zero-cost or zero-day entries are treated as real inputs, so replace any placeholders before deciding.
