Start from the actual boundary
Open the original scope and check the agreed page count, page types, revision allowance and client-supplied content. Avoid deciding from memory. If the baseline is vague, clarify it with the client before calling the request an addition.
Define the smallest complete addition
Describe the new pages, who supplies the copy, which existing components can be reused and what approval is included. Put the addition into a separate change so it can receive a clear response.
- Name each page or page type.
- Specify the content and access dependencies.
- Record any delivery-date effect in the description.
Price and request a decision
Enter the selling price you want the client to review. The margin calculator can help you inspect an estimate, but it does not know the full commercial context. Save the quote and create a client review link. Proposed changes remain separate from acknowledged fees.
Apply the response deliberately
When the response arrives, check that the wording and price still match the proposed item. Apply the decision and save the record. If the client asks for a smaller addition, revise the proposal and send a new snapshot instead of silently treating the old response as acceptance.
