01

Review the required inputs

Check the required answers, links and permissions. Optional items can remain open only when the team has made that choice. Review the list of remaining checks before changing the room’s status.

02

Name the decision makers

Record the final approver and the people responsible for important inputs. The delivery team should know where a clarification goes. Avoid using a general company name when a specific review owner is needed.

03

Plan the handoff milestones

Add the next milestones, their target dates and any blocking dependency. A milestone marked blocked deserves an explanation. The point is to reveal a dependency before it becomes a surprise in execution.

04

Export a usable brief

Review the handoff output and decide who should receive it. A downloaded document is a copy, so later edits in the workspace do not update that file. Make clear which record the team should use as the current source.
