Tailor the request to the agreed website
Start with the project goals, included pages, copy, assets, platform access and final approver. Remove questions that do not apply. Add the dependencies that are specific to this project, such as an integration owner or a content migration plan.
Give the client a practical request
Each question should say what is needed and what a useful answer looks like. Add an input owner and deadline. Ask for file links and secure platform invitations; never ask the client to paste passwords into the room.
Receive in stages
Save the request and create a client link. The client can submit what is ready and return later. Use the received answers to begin review without pretending the remaining inputs have arrived.
Decide whether the project is ready
Apply the answers, check their completeness and permissions, and mark reviewed items. Set the approver and target date, complete kickoff checks and resolve blocked milestones. If an optional input can follow later, make that decision explicit rather than quietly ignoring it.
A working checklist
Check items as you work. Your ticks stay on this page and reset when you leave.
